Fossil-free products

In our strategy for a more sustainable society, we have chosen to manufacture our products under the mass balance system. We do not believe that parallel systems are a solution, neither economically nor environmentally. Using independent mass balance certification by ISCC ensures that the mix of fossil and renewable raw materials is tracked. The origin of our fossil-free material is Finnish pine oil, which is a residual product from the forest industry. In our regular production process, fossil material is thus replaced with material based on pine oil. By using our regular production process and ensuring that our selected fossil-free material has equivalent properties, we ensure that all requirements are met.
